Check accessibility before travelling

A symbol on a historic site or campus map does not mean an entire journey is accessible. Verify transport access, the entrance and internal routes separately.

Know the area

A symbol on a historic site or campus map does not mean an entire journey is accessible. Verify transport access, the entrance and internal routes separately.

Plan your visit

Explain your needs to the venue: ask about steps, slopes, distance from parking to entrance and accessible toilets. EUL’s accessible campus map illustrates how such information can be shown separately.

Before you go

These planning suggestions are editorial advice, not a service guarantee or current price list. Confirm information for your dates with the provider for any activity, facility or transport. Adapt the trip to your needs and save chosen locations for offline access.

Landmarks and local details

EUL’s accessible campus map distinguishes buildings with access to all floors, mostly accessible buildings and ground-floor-only access. It also marks slopes, accessible toilets and parking. The distinction shows why an exact route matters more than a simple “accessible” label at other venues too.

Before putting the plan into practice

Ask separately about drop-off, door width, steps, lifts and usable toilets. Reaching an entrance is not the same as reaching the event room. Share your mobility equipment dimensions and request alternatives for barriers. A hotel or restaurant statement does not establish accessibility across a beach or historic site.
